''I don’t remember when or where I was when I wrote this song, it’s one of those rare ones that come from that special place where some things just need to be said. I forget how vulnerable this song is sometimes. I had the idea that I wanted to represent each of my family members in the song with a different instrument, like the old musical tale 'Peter and the Wolf'. The violin, trumpet and piano, separate and then ultimately coming together.''
